Congratulations!

  • Alhambra College Preparatory Academy (Phoenix) freshmen won a variety of team contests at the 2010 Junior Achievement “You’re Hired!” Workplace Skills Challenge, including first place in “Team Building & Communication Challenge,” “Allstate Foundation Great Leadership Challenge,” and “Most Professionally Dressed.” Devin O’Kelly took first place in the “FedEx Networking Challenge.”
  • Edu-Prize School in Gilbert was one of 20 Arizona public schools who earned the A+ Schools of Excellence Award, given by the Arizona Educational Foundation. The Foundation’s A+ Program strives to create a comprehensive framework of successful programs and practices that other schools throughout the state and nation might adopt.
  • Challenge Charter school in Glendale won the 2010 Business Innovation Award at the recent Arizona Charter Schools Association (ACSA) business conference. The award, sponsored by Microsoft Partners in Learning Network, was “designed to recognize an Arizona charter school who demonstrates strong business management and an innovative business practice that generated substantive cost savings, additional revenue streams, and/or capacity.”
