Did you really make an impact this year? Teachers at IntelliSchool Charter High School’s Glendale campus definitely did, judging by the essay of graduating senior Michael Wissman. He shared his reflections with fellow students and staff. Here’s an excerpt:
After a lot of lies, and extreme disappointments, I got my life straightened out, found what makes me happy, and with that I stopped wasting my time and did what I needed to be done for me to accomplish one of my few goals.
I cannot take all the credit though for where I am today. I have to thank all the teachers and staff for putting up with me and helping me out with whatever they could. They kept me motivated and working. Only asking in return for me to be respectful and get myself graduated. Which to me was the least they could have asked for.
I plan on moving to Montana this June to start a completely new life. I also plan on going back to school for massage therapy and enlisting in the Army National Guard. All I can say is the only thing keeping you from starting your life, the one you can call your own, is not finishing your schoolwork. After you complete that you have your whole life to decide for yourself what comes next.
